This week we warm up for Mardi Gras in New Orleans with part one of our visit with Henryk "Heiner" Orlik, brewmaster and owner of Heiner Brau Microbrewery in Covington, Louisiana. He talks about the path that led him to Covington, the German brewing tradition and education, and his brewing system. Later we visit Blain Kern's Mardi Gras World, which is one of the main float builders for krewes around New Orleans.
